I like to consider myself a hands-free type of person, and usually I just can’t wait to get home and drop my bags off that I’ve been carrying around all day. First you have a purse for your trinkets and your phone, and for me I have a separate bag for my camera, and then any groceries I’ve picked up along the way (just got some freshly baked bread at Union Square Market- yum). SO MANY BAGS. It was an overload, and I started to just leave the bags and the hassle at home… until now.
Camera bags are sort of like cargo pants (sorry cargo pants)… I understand that they are logical and functional but yikes, for a minimalist like me they hurt my eyes to look at. Until I got my hands on this gem. Meet Lo & Sons, a mother and her two sons. Helen Lo at 60 years of age and her two sons went on a mission to create the perfect bag for everyday travels that wasn’t “either too heavy, too frumpy, too tech-y, overpriced, overly designed, or pocketless black holes.”
GENIUS. I am a woman about town carrying a bag, once again. And this time, I even am even secretly carrying my full-frame camera along with me.
Meet the Claremont Crossbody purse/camera bag, or camera bag/purse, whatever you decide 😉
Is it minimal? Yes. Functional? Yes. Look good? Yes. Not make it super apparent I’m carrying an expensive camera with me? Absolutely. I’m able to put my phone, trinkets, and Canon camera plus a large lens inside it. Not too many pockets that things get lost in there, and a nicely quilted inside as a finishing touch. Well, I am SOLD on it. Well done Lo&Sons family!
